Jessica Préalpato is the head pastry chef at Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, has been named the World’s Best Pastry Chef 2019. “Emotion,” “rock n’ roll” - these words come immediately to Jessica’s Préalpato’s lips when asked to describe the events of the past several months. The creative force behind the desserts of the restaurant Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée (ADPA) is just 33 years old, and has landed in the ranks among pastry pros including Pierre Hermé and Cédric Grolet.
